Hey Reader, Youāve got a few emails from us and at this point you might be like⦠wait, sorry, who the heck are you?! We are Cristina and Sara, and we run Pique Management, a business management agency for authors. Cristina here... Several years ago, I was sitting with my best friend, who is now a New York Times bestselling author. This friend was lamenting about all of the projects she needed to tackle in her business, but didnāt have time for. Meābeing the bossy friend I amāasked āWait, why is your team not handling these things?ā Slowly but surely, it came out that the two team members in place werenāt proactive or self-directed enough to get these projects done without a ton of guidance from my friend. A few martinis later, I asked a question that has changed so much: āā¦should I join your team? Would working together be the best thing or the dumbest thing weāve ever done?ā Turns out, it was the best thing! Channeling my background of productivity coaching and professional organizing into the author world has been seamless. A few years later, as the agency expanded, I got to thinking: āWho is the most competent, organized person I know, who deeply understands business?ā Enter: Sara, my past partner in a former business that we later sold together. As a copywriter and business owner, Sara is one of those people who just gets it. Just a month into our work together, I was continually amazed by how quickly she learned the nuances of the author world and knew exactly what questions to ask our clients. So when you work with us and our amazing team of PAs, youāre getting project management, creative idea generation, productivity coaching, copywriting, and quick, effective execution. We handle logistics but we also care deeply about your well-being.And because we both come from outside of the industry, we bring an important lens into this world that we think has been missing: Looking at results, not just tasks. And not taking āthatās just how itās doneā for an answer, when we know things can be better. So now that youāve received five emails from us, weāre curious: Has anything shifted in your perspective of your team and whatās possible for your business?Hit reply + let us know. We canāt wait to hear from you. Cristina + Sara P.S. If youāre big into the world of Strengths, we thought it might be fun for you to know our top five strengths:
